After a life-changing mission trip to Aguascalientes, Mexico in 2010, Jessie Williams traded corporate security for a calling—launching Kakapo Marketing with a mission to help purpose-driven organizations make a lasting impact. Today, her full-service marketing firm serves clients across the U.S. and internationally, partnering with nonprofits, ministries, schools, and values-based businesses to bring clarity and creativity to their messaging.

Jessie holds a B.A. in Public Relations and an M.A. in Communication Arts from the University of West Florida. Her work has earned prestigious honors, including the Public Relations Society of America’s Golden Image Award (2003 & 2006) and a Special Citation for Exceptional Volunteer Service from the American Red Cross (2004). Her specialties span WordPress web design, graphic design, social media marketing, copywriting, and strategic communications.

With two decades of leadership experience—including roles as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Columbia Southern University and Waldorf College, and Marketing Director for United Way of Escambia County—Jessie brings a unique blend of vision, strategy, and storytelling to every project. She has also served as a children’s pastor for nearly a decade and is a licensed minister with a heart for ministry and mentorship.

Jessie and her husband, Jason, homeschool their three children in Tallahassee, Florida, where life is joyfully shared with a “German Shedder” and two cats.
